Ex chef’s from Eleven Madison Park open up a gourmet food truck in Miami!

This week Bryan Ocampo from The Hunt For The Good Stuff goes to “La Pollita”, a food truck in the design district of Miami that offers street favorites on another level!

Long story short, two chef’s that have worked at some of the world’s best restaurants, including Eleven Madison Park, decide to come to Miami to start their empire with a modest food truck.

The door will be closed on this icon before June to create more band-with for their new space which is sure to be a hit, Boia de restaurant.

Some stand out items include:
Carne Asada Tacos –
Wagyu beef short rib, roasted tomato salsa, charred scallion.

Carnitas Tacos –
Slow roasted berkshire pork, tomatillo salsa, onion-cilantro

Fried Chicken Sandwich
Sesame bun, avocado, pickled slaw, valentina aioli

  1. The question is a difficult one to answer… sandwich, taco, wraps, etc… but I’m going to have to go with a juicy steakhouse burger made from trim of the dry aged steaks. Old homestead in NYC might be my favorite so far!

  2. Favorite handheld food has to be empanadas. Its the perfect blank canvas for any filling! Some of my favorites were from 5411 empanadas. Their date/bacon empanada is phenomenal. 😋😋😋
